Presenter: Chef Nivi Das
Nivi has always been passionate about food, having travelled extensively learning and adapting from different cuisines. Nivi confesses to having this theory that food is strongly connected to our emotions. The taste and smell of food trigger memories and a great dish can be the best mood lifter. Given that belief, starting up Green Platter Foods was a foregone conclusion when she came to that stop-halt point in life when she asked herself, “What do I really want from life? Is this ME?” The answer was to seek out what she enjoys the most.
After soul crunching decades of scrambling to get to the top of the Corporate ladder, Nivi was happy to swap the power suit for the Chef Apron.
Green Platter Foods kitchen often resembles a Food Lab rather than a creative studio. Nivi’s recipes are influenced by the countries she lived in, places she travelled, people she met on her journey and a memory of dishes that had completely knocked the socks off her.
Green Platter Foods comes to you with a lot of love for this Planet and for you.
