Red Bean Pâté

This recipe is adapted from The Complete Scoffer by Ronny. It is extremely easy to make and tastes great.
Ingredients
- 400 g cooked red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 tsp chives (optional, you may substitute chives with spring onion greens)
- Unrefined salt and ground pepper to taste
Method
Either take all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and whizz for a minute (you might need to add a little water if it is rather sticky), or mash the beans in a bowl with a potato masher and then stir everything else in.
