White Sauce II
This is very easy to make and works every time.
Ingredients
- 50 g (approx 6 tbsp) whole wheat flour
- 425 ml soy milk
- 1 – 2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (or to taste) (optional – for a cheesy flavour)
- Unrefined salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method
Take whole wheat flour and the soy milk in a saucepan and whisk over moderate heat, until cooked. It thickens to a sauce consistency when cooked. Turn the heat off and stir in the nutritional yeast. Season with freshly ground black pepper and salt.
