Healthy Bhel
Ingredients
- 3 cups puffed brown rice (murmura), roasted
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 small unpeeled cucumbers, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
- ¼ cup roasted unpeeled peanuts, coarsely crushed
- 1 tbsp lemon juice / date and tamarind chutney
- ½ tsp black salt (kala namak)
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves, for the garnish
Method
Toss all ingredients together until everything is coated with the chutneys and seasonings. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
