Green Beans With Almonds
Ingredients
- ½ kg long green beans, each cut across in half
- 30 g almonds, finely sliced
- ½ tsp thyme/oregano
- 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
- Unrefined salt and pepper to taste
Method
Heat the thyme in a large frying pan. Add the garlic and almonds and sauté for 2 minutes then toss in the green beans. Add salt and a little water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and sprinkle pepper.
Serves 4-6
