Muesli
Ingredients
- 1½ cups wheat flakes
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup barley flakes
- ⅓ cup sunflower seeds
- ⅓ cup pumpkin seeds
- ⅓ cup watermelon seeds
- ⅓ cup chopped dates
- ⅓ cup black raisins / chopped figs
- ⅓ cup chopped pistachios
- ⅓ cup chopped almonds
- 2-3 tbsp date paste
- 1½ tsp lemon juice / 100 ml orange juice
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
Method
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add date paste, lemon/orange juice and cinnamon powder to the dry mixture and mix well. Spread on a baking tray, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for 25-30 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
Serve dry as a snack or with soy/nut/coconut milk for breakfast.
