Raw Mango Coconut Curry
Ingredients
- ¼ cup chopped fresh unpeeled raw mango
- 1 cup tender coconut flesh (malai)
- ¼ cup water
- 1-2 pieces tamarind
- 2-3 green chillies
- 1 tsp unrefined salt
- ⅛ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
For the Garnish
- 1 tsp crushed mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp curry leaves
- 2-3 Kashmiri chillies
Method
In a blender, take the tender coconut, water, tamarind, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder. Blend until smooth and transfer to a serving dish. Add the mango pieces and garnish with mustard seeds, curry leaves and Kashmiri chillies.
